1. The most that a person knows is about themselves. Therefore when someone looks out over the world, they tend to think that everyone else is like them.


2. Examples	* An honest person thinks everyone else in the world is honest.
		* A dodgy person thinks everyone else in the world is dodgy.


3. So if someone says something about a person, be careful to check whether this is about the accuser, not the accused.

	Related to this issue is to always verify the facts in an accusation. If a person is accused, they should be confronted
	and have a chance to respond to the accusation.


4. This effect isn't always the case.
