Married people personalities and single people personalities

1. Marriage is a relationship status, a legal status, and a social status. However it's my belief that it is also a personality type.


3. People who have the personality of a 'married person' are happy when they are married. It matters a lot that they are married to the the right person, but they are happier being married at all. If they are single as an adult, they suffer greatly.


4. People who have the personality type of a 'single person' are happy when living life as a single person. They suffer when they are married. Society and friends shouldn't try and force people like that to get married.


5. Myself? I am happily married. I also have the personality type of a married person. When I was single as an adult, I suffered greatly.


6. Age is also relevant to this question. Before age 30 young people have the world at their feet and are generally not strong enough for the burdens of marriage. After age 40 it is the other way around and many people want to settle down.

However I don't want to state that marriage is a burden as it can be light, and marriage can be the sweet life.
