Achievement and success Mark McIlroy 20 September 2025 1. When a positive person sees an achievement they are filled with strength and hope. 2. When a negative person sees an achievement they are filled with bitterness and jealousy. They are likely to attempt to destroy the achievement and the person by attacking them and spreading false rumours about them. 3. Achievement is a good thing. It brings hope to life. 4. Don't try to stop a person or slow them down if they are trying to achieve something. If you do this, they will never make it. 5. Be proud of your achivements. This should be a good thing. 6. Don't attempt to poison an achievement by accusing a person of 'boasting'. It isn't boasting if a person is genuine and humble about it. The person should be proud of their achievements and not afraid to tell others of them. 7. Examples of achievements: winning a sports competition, building a family with your partner, painting a great painting, a milestone in work or career. 8. Achievements can also be small things in life. 9. Personal achievement example, I achieved 10,000 deliveries as a driver. Almost five year's work. This was not the highest ever however it put me into the top level of drivers where there was clear air and only a handful of others. 10. Some people choose a life of laziness. That is a valid choice to make. However these people will not have achievements, and they have no right to ruin the achievements of others. They should remember that they had something that the hard workers never had, which was a chance to enjoy their time.
